The Hyderabad City Civil Court has told Minister Konda Surekha to stop making negative comments about KT Rama Rao.

The court also ordered her to remove her earlier comments from social media.

This happened during a defamation case that Rama Rao filed against Surekha.

He was upset because she linked him to the divorce of actors Naga Chaitanya and Samantha Ruth Prabhu.

After facing a lot of public anger, Surekha took back her comments but did not apologise. She said she was upset when she made them.

Rama Rao had asked for Rs 100 crore in damages. This court's decision is important because it is the first time a court has acted strongly against a minister for defamation.

The court said Surekha's comments were not appropriate and ordered media outlets to remove any related content from social media.

The court emphasised that her comments could harm society and insisted that all related articles and videos be taken down.
